EF has always been at the forefront of developing innovative courses and teaching materials. EF's English textbooks were written by international language experts to follow Council of Europe guidelines. In addition, you may choose to receive a certificate stating that EF courses are certified by Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), an accredited member of New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

The EF schools in Cape Town and Boston are authorized TOEFL iBT test centers.
